Gratitude to Nature will be expressed by one of our most effective demonstration partners, Yoshiko Gilli and Setsuko Iwami. They will spend their time showing the glory of autumn and their gratitude for it by creating lovely ikebana arrangements based on the Ohara School curriculum. Please make time to see this demonstration. If you are a member, come and support your Ohara sisters. If you wish to be a guest, please come and join us. The fee is $5 at the door.

May 16 & 17, 2020 The Ohara Spring Ikebana Exhibition at Buddhist Church of America, Jodo Shinshu Center, 2140 Durant Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94704, between Shattuck Avenue & Fulton Street, Downtown Berkeley
Ohara School of Ikebana, Northern California Chapter, is delighted to display over fifty accomplished arrangements and give three live narrated demonstrations each day. Admission is free to the public. In addition to the arrangements and demonstrations, there is a social lounge for guests to talk and have a cup of tea and various donated treats to break up the meandering through the arrangements and watching the demonstrations. Ladies in kimonos will be on hand to answer questions about the arrangements, finding a teacher and the Ohara School of Ikebana.

October 3 - 9, 2020 Headmaster Visit to San Francisco for a Grand Demonstration and Workshop, at St. Mary's Cathedral, 1111 Gough Street, near Japantown
The world famous Fifth Headmaster Hiroki Ohara of the Ohara School of Ikebana, Japan, will be the Chapter's guest in San Francisco on October 3rd to 9th, 2020. He will give his usually astonishing demonstration and conduct an inspired workshop. Times and availabilities will be announced later.
