IKEBANA INTERNATIONAL 2019 EXHIBITION

NO WORKSHOP IN MARCH
There will be no workshop in March since many of our members will be participating in the ikebana exhibition sponsored by Ikebana International San Francisco Bay Chapter.
 
IKEBANA INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION
This exhibition will be Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17 from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. at the County Fair Building in San Francisco Golden Gate Park  1199 9th Ave, San Francisco
 
Even if you are not exhibiting at this show, please support our members by attending. Around 20 of the 100 arrangements on display will be by Ohara members. Numerous potters will be selling ikebana containers so it’s a good place to find that unique piece for your collection.  In addition, some small arrangements created by members of the Teachers’ Federation will be raffled and sold. 
 
DEMONSTRATIONS
Demonstrations by two different schools will be given each day.  Ohara’s will be on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 by Yoshiko Gilli and Yasuko Naiki.
 
Saturday, March 16

  2:00pm             Ohara
 
TICKETS:
Tickets are available at the door for $10, however you can purchase them in advance for $8.
